Arrived in town on a bus and met the owners son, he told me to come by. The quesabirria was amazing and came with everything you would want! Restaurant and restrooms were sparkling clean, and the service was quick and effortless. Highly recommend!

I was just stopping by to grab some RnR coffee when I suddenly noticed this place — the parking lot was packed with cars . That’s when I remembered someone mentioning that it had recently turned into a restaurant. Curiosity kicked in, so I decided to pull in and check it out . I ordered 2 lbs of carnitas, not expecting anything too crazy… but wow, they gave me way more than I thought I’d get! The portion totally exceeded my expectations and made the spontaneous stop absolutely worth it . Definitely a pleasant surprise!

Passing through town, we had a hankering for Mexican food. Carnitas Michoacán was great; would stop in again in a heartbeat and try more than just the carnitas. Friendly staff, yummy carnitas, seemingly newly renovated.

While getting some RnR coffee I noticed this spot full of cars. I then remembered someone telling me they recently changed to a restaurant. I pulled in and ordered 2lbs of Caritas and got more than I expected. The meat was hot and juicy, the burnt ends were crunchy, not too much fat content (like most other places), and the homemade tortillas were thicc. The pico de gallo with cabbage and salsa had a good spice, not too overwhelming. Will definitely be going back.
